BeamBerry Service

BeamBerry service consists of BeamView, BeamPrint, and BeamDisk. Our unique technology and approach make it easy, efficient and natural to view, print, and store documents that you received as e-mail attachments or have stored on your memory card (e.g. SD card).

BeamView
BeamBerry viewer service that enables BlackBerry users to view documents (PDF, Word, PPT, XLS, RTF, ZIP archives) exactly as they would look on a regular computer. Users are presented with a thumbnail view of the pages in the document and can then open any of the pages, adjust the zoom level, move from page to page, etc. The quality of the documents viewed (i.e. text, images, formatting, etc.) is that of an original document. Opening a document attachment is very natural. All it takes is navigating to the e-mail message containing the attachment and opening it with BeamBerry. It is also possible to open a document stored on the memory card (e.g. SD card) or in the internal memory of the device. The document opens in a matter of seconds, with no extra e-mail messages arriving in your mailbox. With BeamView you can view your document attachments on virtually any type of BlackBerry device, not just the most advanced and latest kind.

BeamPrint
BeamBerry printing service that enables BlackBerry users to print their documents directly from the BlackBerry device to any Bluetooth enabled printer. Simply pair your BlackBerry device with the printer and print your documents. If your printer is not Bluetooth enabled, you can still print your documents to it by connecting a Bluetooth printer adapter to your printer that connects to the printer’s USB port.

A key differentiator of BeamPrint is that it allows you to easily and transparently print to over 1500 compatible printers from virtually any BlackBerry device, not just the latest and the most powerful BlackBerry.

BeamDisk

BeamBerry virtual file system with unlimited storage capacity can be accessed via a very convenient and intuitive BeamBerry file browser and allows BlackBerry users to store their documents on the BeamBerry server. Users can create various folders in which to organize their documents and perform various basic operations on them (cut, copy, paste, rename). All documents stored on BeamDisk can be viewed and printed. Additionally, BeamDisk documents can be attached to new e-mails. The original e-mails containing these documents can be deleted from the mailbox thus preventing it from being cluttered. With this new release it is also possible to transfer documents between BeamDisk, memory card and the internal device memory.
